The year 2022 began on a great note for DPS Kollam.Our three talented shooters, Aleena S. (Gold), Bharath J Raj(Silver), and Parth Sharma(Qualified for the finals) carved their niche in the Kerala Olympics District Level Rifle Shooting Championship. Kudos to our children and the rifle shooting coach, Ms.Veena.
In the 54th State level shooting championship conducted in Palakkad from 9 September to 12 September, 7 students from Delhi Public School participated in various categories. Bharath J Raj of Class IX won the bronze medal in 10 metre air rifle shooting and qualified for the South Zone competition to be held in Trichy this month. In the same competition Chithira S of Class V qualified for the 10 metre air pistol South zone competition to be held in October in Trivandrum. The winners were appreciated and acknowledged by the Director Dr. Hassan Azeez, Principal Ms. Abak Chatterjee, Vice Principal Ms. Jeena Rachel and Coach Ms.Veena S.
