DPS KOLLAM

DPS KOLLAM the first DPS in Kerala is nestled in the calm and pristine surroundings at Meeyannoor, 18 km from the city of Kollam. It is a residential cum day boarding school. It also offers day-care facility. It is co-educational and comprises of a diverse community of teachers and students. Our school offers the CBSE curriculum with the medium of instruction being English. The school is committed to nurturing critical thinking, self-confidence and self- discipline in the students.

DPS Kollam is a learning community where both academic excellence and active participation in the co-curricular programme of sports, clubs, and service are valued equally.

“Service before Self” The motto of Delhi Public School is a vivid reflection of the mettle and dedication that goes into the making of a noble institution with a noble mission. It is a constant reminder that the DPS spirit always accords greater priority to the welfare of others over welfare of the self. Service towards an enlightened path has always been the bedrock of DPS philosophy; a philosophy that reflects a commitment to serve others willingly, graciously and selflessly.

Message From the Principal

Ever since smart screens have replaced the black board and chalk, educational scenario has been witnessing revolutionary changes. The pandemic gave the necessary impetus that hastened the transformation. Our school stood strong throughout the period with its clear vision and mission objective. With utmost care, DPS emphasizes on the specific development of each and every student. We uphold a global perspective rooted in values. Within a brief period, the school has set a bench mark for quality education safeguarding the ethos of Indian culture.
The motto “Service before Self” best explains the commitment of the school towards the society. We are sure that our presence will create ripples of changes as we believe change is the end result of all true learning.
We are hopeful that the best days are yet to come and together as members of one single family we await a blessed and fulfilling academic year 2023-2024.
May I take this space to quote my most favorite lines of renowned mystic poet Khalil Gibran:
